We are situated about 5 minutes walk for the city center where you will find a choice of resturants and pubs to Dine in at you pace.

Glendale is an ideal base for touring the Highlands of Scotland and further afield.

The City Center is where you will find both the Bus & Train Stations.

Dalcross Airport is about 10 miles out of the city and is accessed by regular Shuttle Bus or Taxi service.

Inverness has many Tourist attractions in the center itself, The Museum, The Castle, The River Ness Islands & St Andrews Cathedral & Eden Court Theatre.

Culloden Battlefield is situated about 5 miles fromthe city and is a mut for anyone visiting Inverness. The site of the last Batttle fought on Bristish soil. There is a large Exhibition Center and a walk around the battlefields is a must to soak up the Atmosphere.

Another excellent trip is Fort George. One of the finest examples of Military engineering built after the Battle of Culloden to protect the area fromany Rebellions. Never had a shot in anger been fired from the Fort. It is still used Today by the army and houses an excellent Military Museum.

Cawdor Castle, Ancient home of the Thanes of Cawdor ( MacBeth ) is 15 minutes from Inverness and is well woth a trip. The castle dates from the 14th Century and was originally built around a Holy Tree.

Not forgetting ' Nessie ' herself - Lives only miles for Glendale Guest House - if you take a trip either by road to Loch Ness or indeed, by the award winning Jacobite Cruises that you may not be disappointed. The Village of Drumnadrochit is situated sixteen miles from Inverness and you will find several Restaurants and Pubs there as well as two very good ' Loch Ness Monster Exhibitions.
